Blur Motion

By slowing down the shutter speed and having the subject move around  they'll appear to be moving quickly. Due to the movement you get the blurred effect.

All you really need is a moving subject, a camera and the shutter speed slowed down quite a bit to get the effect needed.

I would like to have one of the girls to wear a dress and spin around for me ( with shorts of course).I think the dress will provide a great Blur Motion photo.

Right now you see a pair of dice being rolled. I assume to take the picture someone rolled the dice the get the effect.

This is a photo of a small waterfall. All they did was set up the camera like how they wanted and let the camera slowly do the work, so they could get the "Misty" effect.

This is a photo of a telephone booth with the cars and street in the background. The blurred part would be the cars driving past, giving it a cool effect.

This is a photo of a ride that you can sit in and be spinned around. This photographer used blur motion by making the trees and everything in the background blurred out and the subjects quite clear making the ride seem very fast.

This is a photo is a car driving along a road on a snowy day. The trees and snow appear to be blurred meanwhile the car appears to be going very fast on the road.

This is a photo of a strawberry with sugar being poured on top of it. By using the slow shutter speed and poring the sugar on top is just enough to get the photo needed.

This is a photo of a dancer moving across the stage. To get the photo all they did was have her dance and move around so they could get the blurred effect.

This is a photo of children swinging on the swings. The children are blurred out because they're the ones moving, meanwhile the background and the actual pole to the swing is quite clear.

This is a photo of a tide washing ashore. The get the effect the shutter speed was put really slow and let the camera do the rest.

This is another photo of a dancer that appears to be doing a jump. They set up the camera lowered the shutter speed and had her just to get the effect wanted.

This is a photo of just a boys face. The photographer had him move his head from one side to the other, where on the far right side his face is more clear.

This is a photo of a windmill being blown. The get the blurred effect all they did was of course blow it and then take the photo

This is a photo of a wave. To again get this kind of misty effect they just set up their camera how they would like and set the shutter speed to a low setting.

This is a photo of a woman doing a kick in mid-air. The setting was set to a low speed and had her just do her kick. The yellow pants gave it a much cooler effect as well.

This is a photo of kids being spun around on the playground. The photographer focused on the children meanwhile the background is blurred. Making them appear to be going fast.

This is a photo of a girl with only her face blurry, making facial appearance unknown. The photographer just had her move around her face but keep the rest of her body still.

This is a photo of a couple dancing. Now you can see more than one blur, and see both dancers movement in that moment.

This is a photo of someone walking around the store pushing the cart around. All they really did was sent of the camera from POV and walked around getting the blurred effect.

This is a photo of a merry-go-round at a fair. The top of the merry-go-round is blurred making it look  fast.

This is a photo of someone typing on a laptop. They set up their camera, set the setting to low, and began typing.

This seems to look like a boy riding an escalator, but its still kind of hard to tell. The photographer probably had the shutter speed low

Journal #1

So far I think my classes are pretty good. I got all the classes I wanted and I like most of my teachers.

My favorite class for sure has to be my drama class. I've been in that class for the last 3 years and love the people. I bond with everyone and love the fun in the class. we get to be so weird and strange, which I love. I cant wait til showcases.

It was easy to build my website. I think Wix doesn't make it very difficult at all. Plus it felt just like last year so  I knew where was everything and didn't struggle looking for what I wanted.

The coolest picture I've taken so far was up in Taos. Over the summer flowers were blooming like crazy. With them growing in their natural habitat was so amazing. I have a few great pictures, mostly the  Sun Flowers.

I'm really into Landscape. I always find them to be really pretty and unique in their own way. Plus that's where I take most of my photos

Over Labor Day weekend I went up to Taos with my family and just hung out. Its always the best time to visit because there is still good whether but its not too hot. And its always been my 2nd home.

Still Life

Im thinking about doing still images of just everyday things that we come across with. Like school for example.

I would need notebooks, pens, paper, pencils, folders, backpacks things in that matter.

I think lighting is going to depend on what kind of shot I want to get. So its can differ from Key Lighting and Rembrandt lighting.

No I don't believe my still life is gong to be based on a book unless I can think of a book that go along with my theme.

I picked this still image because I thought it was really creative and worked really good.

I picked this image because I like the colors and how the image looks in general. It makes me wonder how they created it.

I picked this image because I liked the darkness of the photo and the use of the egg and forks.

I liked this photo because of the strawberries... I like strawberries. That and I thought it was really cool on how they tied them up.

I picked this image because I liked how the objects were set up. Like the cherry sitting on the handle was cute and gave it a soft touch.

I picked this image because i thought the angle of the sunflower was really pretty and made the image look good.

I picked this image because It reminded me of a photo that can be seen in a really creepy old house by walking down the hall. I don't know I just really liked the vibe it gave off.

I picked this photo becasue I thought it was really cool and makes me question how they got a image like this.

I picked this photo because I liked the flowers and how dark they appeared to be. It really caught my eye and would be something I would put up in my room.

I liked this image because I thought it was really cleaver on how they made the pear look. I had never really thought of it as a lightbulb.

I liked this image because I really liked the relfection of the music notes on the little sliver ball thing. I do wonder what exactly it is.

I picked this image because I liked the cute little cherries. That and I thought it was cool that they created a little heart with their stems.

I picked this image because I liked the colors of the flowers. And the way the the flowers and leaves were set up added to the photo making it really pretty.

I liked this photo because I thought it was really cool to look at it. And I wonder if it was hard to get the image.

I liked this image because I wonder how they exactly got this image. It looks really cool and caught my eye but I still wonder how they got this image.

I thought this image was really creative and cute at the same time... even though they were fighting.

I picked this image becasue I thought it was really cute and fun to look at. I do wonder how they got the image and if it was hard to get it.

I picked this image because I thought it was really cool to be able to see the water drops on the apple.

I really liked this image because if how the water gave it such a cool look and how the peppers looked falling into the water.

I liked this image becasue it reminded me of Taos and its like my second home. So the colors and the idea of the image was really creative and brought comfort.

 Advanced Lighting Technique

I picked this photo because I thought it was really cool to look at and I wondered how the photographer took the photo. I don't really understand how they could get that effect.

I picked this photo because I thought the little stick dudes were cute. I think that maybe they got flashlights and turned the speed low so it could get the effect of them as they drew out the stick dudes, Im not really sure.

I liked this photo because it looked so planned out and seemed really difficult to achieve. I'm not sure on what he did to get this effect.

The colors of this one really caught my eye and thought it was really pretty to look at. I think they got different colored lights and then lowered the speed, the subject than moved around the colors getting that effect.

I loved how this photo looked and really caught my eye. I don't understand how this photo was created, maybe it's some kind of stand that is designed like that and he stood in front of it.

I loved the purple color that was in this photo. The photographer put a green light on one side of her and a purple on the other, than took the photo.

I liked the effect it had, for some reason it reminded me of some kind of movie poster or something around that area and I liked it. They added a red light maybe a light green and used her cross .

I liked this photo because it seemed really tropical due to the colors and I love tropical. I think the photographer used a red light on the left side of her and a yellow on the right, both clearly and evenly shown.

I liked how simple this photo was. A light touch of a purple and some blue light.

There are lights of all the colors in the rainbow in this photo and I thought it was fun to look at. The photographer lined up all the lights perfectly so one isn't out shining the others and got a great effect.

I thought this photo was cute because the colors under her eyes and nails matched the CD refection. I think the CD was held on the right side of her face in the sun allowing it to reflect.

I liked the reflection the photographer got from the CD. I think the CD was placed under the girls face and had it reflecting up on her face.

I liked this photo because it was really cute and simple. The CD was placed on the right side of her face and only had a little refection on her face.

I liked the vibe and look it gave off for some reason. The CD refection went all the way across her face so I think it was held on the right side of her but a little more higher up.

I picked this photo because it went all across the photo and not just the subjects face. I think the CD was held closer to the camera than anything and just found the perfect reflection to get the effect.

I picked this photo because I liked where the photo was taken because the lights around her hand popped and blended in at the same time which made it look so cute and cool. The light was just mainly wrapped around her hand and somewhat her head

I liked how the lights were set up on the girl. It looks like they just tangled her up in the lights but focused on the right shoulder.

I liked this photo because it wasn't wrapped around her instead she's just holding it. All they did was have her hold the lights and take the photo.

I liked this photo because it was really pretty and she wasnt holding any kind of lights but instead stood behind them.

This photo caught my eye because there was more than one person in this photo which I liked, and I liked the darkness around them because they popped out more.

Im not really sure how photographers draw with light. The only thing I can really think of is using a flashlight of some kind and changing the color if needed.

Light Graffiti is what its called when you draw with light, its called the because when you do it gives the effect of Graffiti.

Night Street Photography.

For my project I choose to do Street Photography except with a little twist, it'll be taken at night. Street Photography are images that capture the everyday living of people in a public area. Some can be taken around tourist spots but also around neighborhoods.

I do plan on using the classroom camera to get my photos but I also plan on using my phone because its hard to go out at night during the week night because of school, but over the weekend would work out really good but we can't keep the camera over the weekend.

I don't plan on having a model in my photos, but if there is a situation providing a good example of capturing everyday living and giving the idea of street photography would be something I'd like to have. And I do need to take the pictures out at night to get my theme.

I do plan on going around town and looking for very public areas, like downtown or uptown at night of course. And one night I just want to drive around neighborhoods and capture their everyday living.

I thought street photography would be really fun to go around and shoot, and something new to try out. Doing it at night is going to be a challenge for me which i was willing to take. Im just going to have too work really hard to get a really great photo.

Silhouette Photography.

For my independent project I decided to do Silhouette Photography. It's taken during sometime at the end of the day or early in the morning and the subject figure is

Candid Photography

For my independent Project i decided to do Candid Photography. It's basically photos that are taken while the subjects not expecting it. I picked this because I think it'll be fun to see how to photos come out and see how people live their everyday lives.

I just plan to go and see who would be a good subject to shoot, and make sure they are okay with it after of course. Whenever i feel the need to take a photo, whether it be day or night.

I want to see hoe hard it might be to take a photo of someone just living life, most the time people want to pose when they see a camera. being able to get an off guard photo of them would be nice to have and a good example go who they are naturally as a person.

Pets

For my next Independent Project I decided to do Pet Portraits, it is petty much headshots of animals.

I just plan on taking a few animals cat and dogs and using them, I want to take closeups of most of the animals and maybe a few action shots.

I plan on using my dogs and possibly use my friends dogs and or animals too. I think I'll put a few in a couple of costumes if only they will let me.

I want to take the animals out to the park and shoot them there or anywhere with green around them. Also houses would be nice too, show where their home is, where they are most protected and loved.

I think it would be really funny and interesting to see how hard it would be to shoot the animals. I thinks it might be pretty difficult to get them to stay still but with a little bit of work and distractions it'll work out good.
