Edited Altered Photos

This project is a form of photography where you take an average headshot photo and you edit the photo in different ways.

I didn't choose to shoot this subject, instead the whole class had to shoot the same type of photography. There were 7 different ways to edit the photos.

I think these photos are successful because these were the most easiest pictures I edited. They were the best out of all of them and I think for doing this kind of editing for the first time they came out pretty good.

I don't think these photos came out every good because I didn't understand exactly how to edit the photos which makes it hard to make the photos come out successful. They were half done and not very cleanly done.

I would first make sure all the posing is done correctly and plan out ahead what photo would be edited how. Then I would learn how to edit all the photos correctly so they won't come out so bad. Taking everything step by step when it comes to editing and ask or look for help if needed.

It taught me more types of photography, before photography I thought they were just pictures I never knew there were different types. I also learned that editing plays a really important when it comes to pictures.

Blur Motion

Blur motion is a photos of moving objects creating a blur giving a cool effect. Long exposure allows the photographer to get the blur effect on a subject.

It was a class project so we didn't get to choose, but this project was pretty difficult to tackle.

These photos came out the best out of all the pictures I took. I personally don't think these images are the best taken, but since I struggled so much I believe these were the best photos I had. They weren't completely blurry and kind of worked.

These photos were the worst out of all the pictures I took. Most of them are completely blurry and dark looking. Having the objects completely blurry wasn't the goal I was trying to get making the pictures un-useable.

Next time I would like to actually learn what setting to put the camera on. I was confused about the shutter speed and didn't understand how high or low the setting needed to be. I would also change how the subjects would move.

I learned another type of photography and it's not always easy. I also learned that the shutter speed is really important when it come to taking those type of photos.

Forced Perspective

Forced Perspective is a photo of an optical allusion which makes images look further, closer, smaller, bigger giving it a cool effect.

This project was a class project and we worked in groups to help get the forced perspective technique learned and easy to do.

These images were not very easy to shoot and I don't think these images are very good. It was hard to get these images to get the right effect. These are the best photos I have of forced perspective.

These images are really blurry and don't look good at all. They don't give the effect of forced perspective.

I would like to learn how to actually do the project. I didn't understand how to give the right idea and give the photo what it needed to make it look right. Instead it just looked wrong and blurry. I would like to learn how exactly how to get the effect it needs to be.

This project taught me that to get a good and clear picture you need to find middle point so all the subjects and objects are focused and not all blurry.

Advanced Lighting/ Still Life

Still life is a type of photography used to enhance objects. By setting the objects a certain way draws attention and adds more depth to the objects and the picture.

I think these photos were successful because they way all the objects are set in place and the certain objects all tie together good. The pink lighting and just normal lighting is good and gives an awesome effect. I don't think these are the best pictures ever but I don't think they are bad either.

I don't think these images were successful because they are very dark. the lighting wasn't very good at all. This causes it hard to see what exactly the objects are making the images look bad. And some of the set ups of the objects are not all that good.

I would use more light on certain pictures so that way you can actually see what is on the screen. Also I would like to find more creative ways to set up the objects, and bring more objects to use.

I learned another type of photography and that lighting is very important. It also brought light that human subjects are not always needed to take good photography. The colorful lights were really fun to work with.

Street Photography

Street Photography shows the everyday living out in public areas. Brings light onto whatever is happening around the area.

I choose this because I thought it would be really fun to shoot and see how difficult it would be to shoot the pictures at night.

These pictures were successful because they are edited pretty good and can clearly see what is going on in the picture. which can be hard to do when it is completely dark outside. I also think they are really eye catching.

I don't think these images came out very good at all. I think they aren't very eye catching and just a little bit blurry.

I would like to learn to use more light maybe a flash ever now and then when it is needed. Also maybe take more interesting pictures so they can be more eye catching. If I was to do this I would like to do it during the day just to see how it would come out.

I learned that street photography can be really hard to shoot and hard to find good places to get the right picture. I also learned that the dark is still really hard to work with. Picking my own type of photography was fun to work with.

Vintage Photography

Vintage Photography is a type of photography where the image taken looks old by editing the pictures to look older.

I choose this type of photography because I wanted to see how my editing skills would be. I wanted to see how they would come out when I worked with new tools in photoshop.

These were the best edited photos I had. I worked really hard to make them look good and I think this is some of the best work I did this year. It was hard work but I think they came out really good.

I don't think these images are that bad, I just feel like they could be better. The actual photo could be taken batter as well the editing.

I would have liked to go around more actual older places instead of just around the neighborhood. I think it would have added ore depth to the photos.

I learned how to edit in a whole other way which was fun to work with. I think going out and taking the pictures was really fun.

Silhouette Photography

It's a type of photography that only defines the outline of the subject. It provides a mystery, dramatic, and mood type of photography.

I wanted to do this type of photography because I thought the sunset would be really pretty to work with. I also wanted to see if it would be hard to only get the outline of a subject.

These photos were one of the best photos I have ever taken, I am really proud of these photos and I think the colors are very pretty. the editing was really easy and fun to do, since the colors ended up so good.

These photos are not all that bad. One of them are not good at all but the rest are not all that bad. I think they are still pretty good and don't really need all that much work.

I would like to maybe change the posing of some of them and maybe put a few objects in their hands just to add more deapth and attention. I don't know add just a little bit of extra.

I learned how and when I should shoot this type of photography. The time and where the subject is placed will determine how the shadow and outlines would be.

Spring Photography

I decided to shoot the new spring coming in. The flowers and pretty colors of the new season coming in.

I wanted to shoot this because I thought the spring looked really pretty this year so I wanted to take some pictures to show how pretty the season is.

These were my best photos because they are nice and close up, you get to see the beauty in the flowers and everything else. It's nice and green, plus the editing was pretty easy and good to do.

These are not bad photos either but not as good as the other ones. Some of the editing could be done better and the photos can better taken. They could be more eye catching.

I would have liked to go somewhere off campus and take pictures of other flowers and places. I think some of those photos would have been really pretty.

I learned that sometimes it doesn't take so much hard work to get good photos. All it takes is just a good eye for natural beauty.
